What is hurting?

I was dropping you off at school, and here is the conversation that took place:

Adhrit: "Mama, are you going to work? "
Mama: "I am going to the doctor first, and then going to work."
Adhrit: "What is hurting ? "
Mama: "My stomach hurts."

When I got to pick you up, you came running towards me and said:
Adhrit: "How is your stomach? " "Is it better now? "
Mama: "yes, Adhrit "

You are the sweetest li'l boy I know. You are so caring, and your memory is just out of this world.

I love you very much my li'l bunny.

Only Water

It was your third day at the Boulder Montessori school, and you were going to stay there until nap time.  The teachers got you to brush your teeth after lunch. You came home and just before bed you told me "Mama, Aprille does not have toothpaste. Only water. Can I take toothpaste to school ?"

I realized that you brushed your teeth after lunch and they did not give you any tooth paste.

Working hard & Construction site

Tonight, you picked "Goodnight Good night Construction site" book to read during bedtime. You pretended to read the pages of the book - you knew them all. After we read the book, and sang our bedtime songs, you said something that touched my heart.

You said "Mama and Papa work hard just like the construction site". I was very touched. I sat down on the bed with you, and then you said "You work hard to get money, and you buy me oats and rice and ghee."

You are special my li'l boy.
